ISKCON Taipei | 國際奎師那意識協會
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), also known as 'the Hare Krishna' movement, is one of the Hindu Vaishnava groups. It was founded in 1966 in New York City by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Its core philosophy is based on traditional Hindu scriptures such as the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam and the Bhagavad-gītā. ISKCON today is a worldwide confederation of more than 400 centres, including one in Taipei. ISKCON actively promotes the ancient spiritual teachings of India; promotes a karma-free pure vegetarian diet and holds lessons in yoga for the people of Taiwan. Along with this ISKCON centers in Taiwan also hold various religious festivals during the year the largest of which is Janmastami, the birth celebration of Lord Krishna.
國際奎師 那意識國際奎師那意識協會是印度教毗濕奴派的組織之一，於1966年由巴克提維丹塔•斯瓦米•帕布帕德大師在紐約成立，其核心宗旨以聖典「博伽瓦譚」及經書「薄伽梵歌」為基礎。今日的國際奎師那意識協會在全球有超過400個分會台北分會積極推廣印度古老心靈智慧、素食飲食、開設瑜珈課程，並慶祝重要印度節日如奎師那神誕辰紀念日。

Sakshi Gallery Taipei was founded in 1984 and is based in Mumbai's art district, Colaba. Sakshi Gallery Taipei officially opened on January 17, 2009 and hosts exhibitions of Indian as well as international artists. EX-THEATRE ASIA | EX-亞洲劇團
EX-Theatre Asia is a contemporary theatre company co-founded in 2006 by Chongtham Jayanta Meetei, who is a graduate from the National School of Drama, New Delhi, India, and Ms. Lin Pei Ann, who is a graduate from Theatre Training & Research Programme (TTRP) of Singapore. The name EX is a metaphor for many expressions: experimenting, exchanging, explore, etc. “EX” means the transformation and the incitement of energy; while “Asia” is where our acting text base upon.As our name suggest, EX-Theatre Asia desire to polish the combination of the two elements. We borrow the traditional symbols and transform them in a contemporary way. From the localization to the globalization, we establish a new symbol system of actors’ physical movement and a new symbolic style in contemporary theatre. As one of the rare theatre companies in Taiwan who develop the theatrical text beyond the language barrier, EX-Theatre Asia indeed revitalize the theatre in Taiwan with its unique cross-cultural performance style.
EX-亞洲劇團是一個現代劇團，由畢業於印度國家戲劇學院的江譚佳彥與畢業於新加坡「劇場訓練與研究課程」的林浿安於2006年共同創辦。「EX」的含意源自許多英文詞彙的字首，如：實驗 (experiment) 、交流 (exchange) 、探索 (explore) 等。「EX」一字，代表能量的激發與轉移，「亞洲」則是豐富的肢體語彙和文本寶庫，EX–亞洲劇團擅長的即是兩者的融合，借用傳統元素、加以轉化，從土地文化出發，為當代劇場創造身體符號系統、新的寫意表演。EX–亞洲劇團在劇場中保留各種語言的交匯使用，呈現異文化的音律與質感，再由表演傳達共通情感與意義。跨越語言藩籬、探索劇場多元語彙、創造身體書寫新美學，成為劇團一大特色。為台灣備受矚目、風格獨具，少數以多語言發展文本詮釋的劇團，為台灣劇場注入亞洲新活血、建立跨文化的交流平台。

COROMANDEL EXPRESS | 科羅曼德印度融合樂團
The Coromandel Express is a train that links the North and the South of India along the Coromandel Coast.It runs from Kolkata to Chennai and represents the group's musical background. Yo (sitar) and Waka (tabla) represent the Hindustani style of North India, while Paige (flutes) and Cody (kanjira/percussion) bring influences from the Carnatic genre of the South. These performers meet in the middle to serve up a musical masala that is thoughtful, explorative, and beautiful. Also drawing from jazz, Western classical, and other World music idioms, Coromandel Express is fusion within fusion and offers something totally unique to the Taipei music scene.
科羅曼德是印度東海岸的特快列車，起迄點為北印度的加爾各答和南印度的金奈。此名稱代表了團員們南北印度的音樂背景和融合。本樂團由北印度代表-Waka和 Yo以及南印度代表-Cody和Paige所組成。音樂上不但融合了南北印度的古典音樂，有時候也加入了西洋現代、古典以及爵士樂。精密複雜的節奏，極高難度的即興，是Coromandel Express的主要特色。四位堅持理念，來自三個不同的國家的音樂人在台灣，Coromandel Express將帶領觀眾到一個全新的聆聽世界。

Shiva Indian Dance Studio was established in year 2005. Ricky Q, the founder of the studio, is one of the most well-known Indian dancers in Taiwan who focuses on north Indian classical dance Kathak, one of India’s eight classical dance forms. Ricky continues to learn Kathak from the world greatest master Pt. Birju Maharaj in India every year. Shiva Indian Dance Studio also performs the luxurious Bollywood dance that originated from Kathak. The vision of the studio is to create a new, modern face of Indian dance for Taiwan audience to appreciate.

ALMA NEGRA DANCE GROUP | 深靈舞窟
Alma Negra Dance Group was established in 2004. As a cultural communicator, Alma Negra began their missions by promoting Gypsy Dance Art which includes Flamenco, Indian Dance and Oriental Dance. In 2005, Alma Negra pioneered in teaching Indian Bollywood and classical dance in Taiwan and also established themselves as the first Indian dance group. In 2006, Alma Negra’s dance drama, The Two Fridas, was the first creative representation of fusion art in Taiwan. The story portraited the amusing life of the famous Mexico female painter Frida in three dance forms, Flamenco, Indian dance and Oriental Dance. In the annual performance of 2008, Alma Negra attempted to re-interpret the aboriginal legend in Taiwan, the Princess Baleng and the Snake, another milestone in promoting the fusion art.
深靈舞窟舞團創辦於2004年，初期推廣吉普賽舞蹈藝術(包含佛朗明哥、印度舞、及東方舞)，2005年起首度將印度寶萊塢舞蹈引進國內，並成立台灣第一個印度舞團，教授印度寶萊塢與傳統古典舞，為目前台灣最知名的印度舞團。深靈舞窟於2006年公演「兩個佛烈達」舞劇，透過佛朗明哥、東方舞及印度舞蹈，詮釋墨西哥知名女畫家佛烈達的傳奇故事，展現了跨國藝術文化的生命力。2008年年度公演以台灣原住民魯凱族「巴冷公主」的淒美愛情故事為舞劇主題，再創跨國藝術融合精神另一高峰，同時呈現印度舞蹈在台灣紮根之成果。

Butterfly Dance Studio | 蝶舞舞蹈中心
Butterfly Dance Studio legally established in 2005, led by Ms. Phiona Lin who owns master degree in dance and has dedicated 25 years in dance. Lin and her team are devoted in Indian classical Odissi and modern Bollywood dance teaching for adults in Taichung. Lin learns Odissi after Indian artist Mr. Nirod Kumar Dehury in India who was also invited to teach in Taiwan for many years.
蝶舞舞蹈中心於2005年正式合法立案，由舞蹈年齡25年的舞蹈科班碩士林麗榕小姐在台中引領創建，帶領旗下印度舞三冠王師資群，投入印度奧迪西、印度寶萊塢等成人舞蹈教學工作。林麗榕師從印度優質奧迪西藝術家Mr. Nirod Kumar Dehury，多年邀請Nirod訪台教學。奧迪西是印度七大古典舞蹈中最為優雅的一種，印度父母常送家中女孩學習奧迪西，以培養優美儀態。

Arabesque Belly Dance Troupe|李宛儒中東肚皮舞團（印度舞為多項舞蹈項目之一）
Violet Lee, after earning her master degree at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel founded Arabesque Belly Dance Troupe in 2003. In 2004, Violet and IMC jointly invited well-known Indian Bharatanatyam dancer Miss Deepa Raghavan to offer Indian dance classes in Taipei. The group participates in Indian festival every year.
李宛儒中東肚皮舞團成立於2003年，由畢業於以色列耶路撒冷希伯來大學，中東文化與政治的碩士李宛儒小姐創辦。2004年，李宛儒與台北印度愛樂中心共同邀請印度古典舞婆羅多老師於台北開班教授印度舞蹈，並於每年參加印度文化節，推廣異國文化。

Asmah dance group was established in 2004. The meaning of the word “Asmah” represents the temperament and dignity of girl in Egypt. This group is dedicated to teaching and promotion of Indian dance and Hula dance. The group leader studied the traditional belly dance in Egypt and Turkey. She is now teaching in community universities and sports centers.
阿斯瑪舞團成立於2004年，阿斯瑪在埃及是形容女子有氣質又高尚的意思。舞團主要致力於肚皮舞、印度舞、呼啦舞的教學與推廣，並積極培養舞蹈新秀。團長更於2005及2007年遠赴埃及、土耳其鑽研中東傳統肚皮舞，現在任教於社區大學及運動中心等。
