A 10-member delegation from ELCINA Electronic Industry Association of India is visiting Taipei from October 8-10, 2009. The delegation includes the Secretary General of ELCINA as well member companies representing a cross-section of the Electronic Industry in India. The main purpose of the delegation is to visit the 2009 TAITRONICS Taipei and also to interact with members of counterpart associations in Taipei.

 

ITA, in cooperation with TAITRA is organizing a Buyer-Seller Meet for the Indian delegation at the Nangang Exhibition Hall. Taiwanese companies interested in doing business with India are welcome to register for this event as per details given below.

 

眾所周知，去年全球金融風暴爆發之後，世界主要消費市場都呈現衰退現象，只有新興國家的市場還在持續成長。印度是世上成長第二快的經濟體；從1980年代開始，印度的GDP就以每年平均6%的速度成長。即使是金融風暴發生後，印度經濟還在繼續成長，因為印度向來是以其龐大的內需市場來推動成長，而不是對外出口。而據估計印度有消費能力的中產階級約有3億5千萬人。

 

印度電子工業公會 (Electronic Industries Association of India; ELCINA)是印度主要的電子業者公會。該公會在今年將組織一個採購團，來台參加2009台北國際電子展覽會(2009 Taitronics)。該採購團由8家廠商所組成，印度-台北協會 (印度在台辦事處)和中華民國對外貿易發展協會 (貿協) ，將於2009年10月8日下午14:00至17:00，在世貿中心南港展覽館，為遠道而來的印度廠商舉辦一場採購洽談會。
