India is fast emerging as the tourism destination of choice for Taiwanese tourists. To further strengthen 'Incredible India' brand in Taiwan and attract Taiwanese travelers to the multi-faceted tourist attractions in India, India-Taipei Association (newly appointed Director General, Mr. Pradeep Rawat), in cooperation with Indiatourism Regional Office in Tokyo is launching a Bus Wrap advertising campaign on Taipei's streets.

 

Beginning November 3, 2009 for a period of one month, 20 public buses in Taipei, wrapped in the colors of 'Incredible India' would weave through the city traffic. Each of these buses would be wrapped in a different theme of 'Incredible India', highlighting the marvels of Indian architecture, the depths of its age-old traditions, the beauty of its beaches and mountains, the colors and excitement of its festivals and the diversity of its warm and friendly people.

 

On November 2, 2009, a special Bus-Launch ceremony would be organized in the Grand Victoria Hotel, Taipei. The 'Incredible India' buses would be ceremonially flagged off by the Director General, India-Taipei Association with other VIPs from India and Taiwan. The bus launch ceremony would be followed by a gala evening featuring enthralling Indian Bollywood dances and a sumptuous Indian dinner. For the select invitees from the travel and tourism industry in Taiwan, there would also be special lucky draws with awards including free air tickets to India!

印度－台北協會及印度政府旅遊局於11月2日晚間舉辦了一場「不可思議的印度」公車旅遊廣告開跑剪綵活動及晚宴，近100位台灣旅遊界、電視界及媒體朋友們均蒞臨參加。印度方面出席貴賓包括新到任的印度－台北協會會長羅國棟先生（Mr. Pradeep Rawat）及印度政府旅遊局薛丹拿先生。

 

 

戶外的公車廣告剪綵儀式為當晚活動揭開序幕，換裝為印度風的台北市公車首度現身，在剪綵貴賓及印度寶萊塢舞蹈的熱力下即日起正式開跑。大台北地區將有20台公車爭奇鬥豔地展現印度最繽紛的樣貌，3面妝點上如泰姬馬哈陵、水上宮殿、舞蹈、瑜珈、建築、野生動物等主題，穿梭大街小巷，用色彩豐富您的視界外，更希望喚起民眾對印度的旅遊熱，突破2008年近27,000的簽證數字！(公車路線編號：大南266、欣欣1、611、254、278、630)
